Friday Afternoon Update & General Thoughts

I have confirmed with the ISU Athletic Department that we are going to get lunch and a tour of the stadium before we play on Friday (noon).  I asked them to throw in some towels and/or hats, etc. so we should be able to leave with some ISU goodies.  I would imagine that they will be talking in great detail about the financial needs of the program.  While Hawk has already stated that he won't give ISU Baseball a "f*#@ing dime", I am hopeful the tour will make him a true believer.  If nothing else, we will get a nice lunch and tour of a great facility. 

I have tee times reserved at ISU for Friday, but since we can not play Prairie Vista this year (tournament) on Saturday, I may set up some tee times for PV on Friday.  Draft is the same as usual with a 9:00ish start at Pub II.  If you have not heard, Gockel and I are going to be captains this year, and we are in negotiations with several individuals for captainship next year.
